After a sold-out first edition in Champagne last spring, Origine and GravelUp are back with a second Gravel Camp, this time in the heart of the Grands Causses.
Over 4 days, enjoy a unique gravel immersion through wild tracks, vast plateaus, autumn forests and spectacular views around the Millau Viaduct.Whether you are already into gravel riding or simply curious to discover the discipline, this camp is designed to let you ride at your own pace, alongside GravelUp guides and the Origine team.

Day 1 – entering wild lands
Day 2 – first climbs, first wide-open spaces ~ 79 km / 1,400 m elevation gain
Day 3 – deep forests & forgotten chapels ~ 63 km / 1,140 m elevation gain
Day 4 – final loops, final views ~ 45 km / 890 m elevation gain
Pickup is available from Montpellier-Saint-Roch Station from 6:00 PM, before heading towards the vast open spaces of the Grands Causses. As the journey unfolds, the scenery transforms: cliffs begin to rise, and the iconic Millau Viaduct gradually appears on the horizon. The immersion begins.
Upon arrival, settle into the base camp and meet both the team and the other participants.
Over a local aperitif and a convivial dinner, everyone gets introduced to the spirit of the weekend: sharing, adventure, and a passion for gravel riding. It’s also the perfect moment to get familiar with the Origine gravel bikes, make the final adjustments, and kick off this authentic bikepacking and gravel adventure escape in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to set off for a big day of riding through the wild landscapes of the Grands Causses.
The tracks of the Causse Noir quickly set the tone, with vast mineral plateaus, forest sections and more technical trails combining in a ride focused on adventure and the pleasure of riding together. The perfect terrain to experience the full potential of the Origine gravel bikes.
Throughout the day, gourmet breaks featuring local flavours punctuate the experience before returning to Millau for a convivial dinner together.
This new day begins with panoramic views over the Millau Viaduct, with a gentle warm-up ride before heading back onto the trails of the Grands Causses. The route winds through pine forests, flowing gravel tracks, stone villages and wild landscapes, offering the perfect terrain to fully enjoy the performance and comfort of the Origine gravel bikes.
Along the way, the group discovers the Templar heritage, rides a variety of scenic paths and stops at a hidden former religious site nestled in nature before enjoying a friendly local lunch in the charming village of Nant.
The afternoon unfolds at a more relaxed pace with a gradual return to camp, leaving time to enjoy the final kilometres and the warm atmosphere of the group.
For this final day, one last gravel loop takes the group through the wide-open landscapes of the Larzac and the iconic scenery of the Grands Causses.
Between panoramic tracks, wild nature and spectacular views over the Millau Viaduct, the final kilometres offer one last immersion into the world of gravel and bikepacking aboard Origine gravel bikes.
Back at the estate, a convivial brunch brings this shared adventure to a close before the transfer to Montpellier Saint-Roch train station, with arrival scheduled around 5:00 pm.

How to get there?
There are two ways to reach your trip:
• Arrive by your own means and go directly to the meeting point indicated. • Arrive by train or plane. In this case, we organise a shuttle between the arrival train station or airport and your accommodation.

Yes, we ride on routes where neither road bikes nor mountain bikes are perfectly suited — that’s what makes gravel so special! You can bring your own gravel bike or rent one directly when booking your trip.

With us, there’s no stopwatch. We start together and we finish together. To help every rider find the adventure that suits them best, we offer 5 difficulty levels, from 1/5 to 5/5, detailed below. The level of each trip is shown at the top of its page, on the header photo. Please note: all our trips are open to e-gravel bikes (available for rental in all our destinations). Our groups include both traditional and electric bikes to ensure a smooth balance of pace.

Booking
Not at all! Our expeditions do not require previous gravel riding experience. Our itineraries are designed to be accessible to all, as long as you have a spirit of adventure. You may have to carry or push your bike on some short sections, but that's part of the Gravel Up adventure!
Please note: Our hire bikes are the latest spec models and are meticulously maintained for your comfort and safety. They are the ideal bikes in terms of comfort and safety for all our adventures
Booking
We prioritize small groups of 8 to 12 participants to encourage meaningful interactions and maintain the friendly spirit of the trip.
Traveling in a small group also allows us to minimize our impact on the trails we use and to respect the territories we pass through.
Practicalities
You will be accommodated in charming hotels, chalets, or renovated former shepherds’ cottages, carefully chosen for their comfort, history, and the authenticity of their hosts!
Safety
Our guides are carefully chosen based on their experience and local knowledge of each region to guarantee you an unforgettable adventure. All our guides have French State validated bike qualifications. They are also French levels 1 and 2 first aid trained as you would expect.
Booking
You may change the date of your trip free of charge up to 30 days before departure. You may also cancel your booking at any time prior to the start of your trip. The following conditions will then apply:
More than 90 days before departure → 75% refund, or a 100% credit of the amounts paid, valid for the next 12 months
Between 60 and 90 days before departure → 50% refund, or a 75% credit of the amounts paid, valid for the next 12 months
Between 30 and 60 days before departure → 25% refund, or a 50% credit of the amounts paid, valid for the next 12 months
Less than 30 days before departure → No refund, or a 50% credit of the amounts paid, valid for the next 12 months
You may also take out cancellation insurance with our partner Chapka Insurance. This option will be offered at the time of booking. More information about the insurance is available here.
Please note that a Trip Credit cannot be converted to a refund at a later date.
Our team have come up with two expeditions to keep everybody happy, from regular social cyclists to bikepacking fanatics.
Between 3 and 5 days riding crisscrossing the natural park of Les Grands Causses in Aveyron on a gravel bike with a group of like minded riders will allow you find landscapes and views that will take your breath away. GravelUp takes care of everything during the trip, from carefully chosen accommodation to local meals and snacks ideal for a days riding.
It’s not just this care that makes our expeditions unique, its the local knowledge of our guides and the chance to visit local people and places that make for genuine and beautiful picnic spots and overnight stays.
