We will welcome you from 7:00 pm in a charming traditional Breton house, located in the village of Poullaouen. If you are arriving by train, a shuttle will pick you up at Guingamp station (around 6:00 pm) and take you directly to your accommodation.
The evening will begin with a dinner celebrating Breton flavors, carefully prepared with local products from the region. In this authentic and friendly atmosphere, you will get to know the rest of the group as well as your guide and the GravelUp support team.
Your adventure begins in the heart of the Monts d’Arrée, a wild and contrasting landscape of heather moorland, rocky ridges, and sweeping panoramas. You’ll ride along flowing gravel tracks with a few more technical sections, perfect for settling into the journey.
Along the way, dolmens, standing stones, and secluded chapels bear witness to Brittany’s rich history. Reaching the ridgelines, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views over the Brennilis Lake and the surrounding peat bogs: a memorable highlight before returning to your accommodation for a convivial evening around local specialties.
Set off for the Huelgoat Forest, famed for its legendary rock formations and enchanting atmosphere. Between forest trails, hidden dolmens and menhirs, every turn unveils a piece of Brittany’s history and myths.
The route mixes flowing tracks, more technical sections and open ridgelines, offering a full immersion into Brittany’s wild and authentic soul.
For this final half-day ride, head into the Vergam-Scrigna Nature Reserve, with its ancient forests, heather moorland and peaceful rivers. A shorter but equally rewarding route, perfect for one last immersion in wild Brittany.
Your adventure will wrap up around 3:00 pm with a convivial farewell lunch, before the transfer to Guingamp train station at 4:00 pm.

Yes, we ride on routes where neither road bikes nor mountain bikes are perfectly suited — that’s what makes gravel so special! You can bring your own gravel bike or rent one directly when booking your trip.
