• A unique route

You’ll be spoilt for choice with a gravel bike in the heart of the Pyrenees - you can climb one (or more than one!) of the mythical cols AND explore some of the many hidden trails. The versatility of a gravel bike means you can let it go a little and see what takes your fancy.

• Authentic accommodation

We take great care in choosing our accommodation for each trip, with exacting criteria of cosy and comfy, with great food. Our bike trips aren’t just about pedalling, there’s the important business of recovery and relaxation too. That’s why all our trips are all-inclusive, so you can benefit from all of the above.

• Top notch bikes

Of course you are welcome to bring your bike on our trips. But if you don’t have a gravel bike yet, or would like to try a different one, then you can reserve your bike at the time of booking. We’ve joined forces with the French brand Origine and are delighted to have the carbon Graxx (8.1kg) and electric Help (12kg) in our fleet. Voted Gravel Bike of the Year in numerous tests, both bikes combine performance and versatility in a light frame for a responsive ride. 

• Passionate local guides

All our gravel trips are led by our handpicked local guides chosen for their love of gravel, and are, of course, all holders of specific first aid training and nationally recognised professional bike qualifications. They are there to ensure everyone’s safety, as well as share some bike handling tips and stories from the trails to help you get the most out of your ride. 

You can rest assured that you’ll be in good hands as you cross the Pyrenees.

Who is gravel in the Pyrenees for?

• What level?

Here at GravelUp we have different levels of adventure, so you’ll find something just right for you whether you are just starting cycling, ride occasionally or are already a convert. Our GravelUp motto is that “we start together and finish together” - it’s not at all a race, there’s no pressure. Just pure pleasure and smiles all round.

• What type of trip?

Depending on which trip you choose, we’ll either ride day rides from our Basecamp or set off on a multiday point to point route. Daily stats are from 40-80km depending on the level chosen, with increasing amounts of climbing. All our routes have been carefully crafted with the help of the local tourist offices, Park authorities and landowners. We are constantly updating our routes and our guides will adapt each day depending on the weather and the needs/wants of each group. 

• What terrain?

With the versatility of a gravel bike being its USP, the variety of terrain that you’ll encounter is enormous. And because we want to give you the most complete immersion in nature possible, we prioritise those hidden trails and small dirt paths that take you straight into Nature, without them becoming too technical for a gravel bike.
