A new season means a new destination! The Côte d’Azur joins our French lineup, ideal for early season gravel riding. From the snowy peaks to the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this gravel playground is filled with the sweet scents of olive groves and orchards. Plus trails a-plenty of course!

Our long weekend trip is designed so that you can experience the Côte d’Azur from an entirely new perspective, exploring from the Mediterranean sea to the wilderness just on the doorstep.
Are you ready for an adventure from the shores of the Mediterranean to the mountains of the Mercantour? Join us for 5 days of point to point gravel riding and see the Côte d’Azur backcountry from a totally different perspective.
Equipment
Yes, our expeditions will go on paths and small roads where neither road bikes nor mountain bikes will be suitable.
You can bring your own gravel bike or hire one from ours. Our well specced bikes with tubeless tires means a much lower risk of punctures and mechanical problems during your trip.
Practicalities
For Adventurer trips your luggage will remain at the base camp, where you will sleep each evening.
For Explorer or Pathfinder trips your luggage will be transported by us between your accommodation each day. You won't have access to it during the daytime but it will be waiting for you at the end of each days ride.
Level
We have 3 levels of expeditions - you can find them on the home page by clicking on the "Compare the levels" link. These levels have been designed to enable as many people as possible to join one of our trips. Our expeditions are adventures, not races. We start together and we finish together, it's the GravelUp speed.

Climbing mountains makes you happy ! This second experience with gravel up was awesome. Another group, another destination, and I could find the same atmosphere that only the gravel up team is able to foster within just a weekend and between people who don’t know each other beforehand !
