Whichever one you choose, you’re going to love it! After some deliberation, we’ve carefully chosen our high end gravel bikes from French brandOrigine Cycles, our gravel partner for several years now. Their bikes are the ultimate steed to give you an exceptional experience on Europe's finest roads and trails.

Origine offers 100% customisable gravel bikes that meet the needs of passionate and demanding cyclists, from beginners to experts. Ideal for us as we’ve been able to choose exactly the specs we wanted for your maximum enjoyment and ultimate versatility, offering both comfort and performance on all types of terrain. All Origine bikes are designed, painted and assembled in Somain in Northern France, meaning quality craftsmanship is guaranteed.

We offer both traditional pedal powered and electric assisted gravel bikes to enable everyone to get the most out of our trips, whatever your level.

From January 25 to February 25, 2025, we are offering the rental of an Origine gravel bike on all our 2025 trips. Save between €140 and €350 depending on the duration of your chosen trip.

As well as our organised gravel bike trips, we’re also pleased to offer gravel bike hire all year round, making it that bit easier for you to plan an adventure either solo or with friends. Traditional and electric gravel bikes

Choose between the carbon GRAXX GTO, repeatedly voted gravel bike of the year, and the HELP eBike, that weighs in at only 12kg and rides like a dream!

Origine have managed to combine performance and versatility in lightweight frames (yes even the eBike!) that are perfect for making the most of the landscapes and terrain we travel through on our trips. Both models have a reassuring geometry which, combined with our choice of wide grippy tyres, means you’ll be tackling whatever the trails can throw at you with confidence and having a lot of fun along the way!

Traditional or electric bike - which to choose?!

Our traditional purely pedal powered bikes are ideal for cyclists who are used to riding regularly, and who enjoy a physical challenge whilst exploring new places. If you like to feel in direct contact with the terrain that you are riding all the time, then this is the bike for you. Because our routes are so varied, there will always be a cheeky little (or not so little!) climb to tackle where you’ll need previous bike fitness and to manage your effort, before reaping the rewards at the top of course! So if you like to push your limits physically, or are used to riding the daily distances of your chosen trip, our traditional carbon bike is for you.

Our electric bikes are there to give a little helping hand on the ride and the climbs - particularly for less experienced cyclists, those who would like to be able to ride further with less overall effort, who are recovering from injuries etc, or simply no longer want to be exhausted at the end of every ride! They aren’t motorbikes and you still have to pedal and put some effort in but with a friendly bit of help when needed. Where eBikes really come into their own is with groups of mixed abilities, as they enable all sorts of friends and cyclists of varying levels to enjoy riding together. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or an experienced cyclist looking for a bit more comfort on your ride, an e-gravel bike will allow you to ride at your rhythm.
