Quality kit

You are of course welcome to bring your own gravel bike. But if you don't have your own bike (yet!) or would rather travel without the hassle, we have a top quality fleet of gravel bikes available to rent. In partnership with the French brand Origine, we can offer two models - the Graxx carbon bike weighing just over 8kg or the Help electric bike weighing in at a surprisingly light 12 kg.

All our gravel trips are led by passionate local guides, who are fully qualified with all the relevant first aid qualifications too.

Our guides are there to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience, and will enable your adventure through anecdotes and shared experiences, fostering a team atmosphere in your group so that you’ll leave with many friends as well as great memories. Who is gravel riding in Slovenia for?

How we ride:

Whether you're just getting into riding, ride regularly but want to try gravel, or are already a gravel convert, we have a level of adventure that’s right for you! We have 3 different formats that gradually increase with time and distance each day. Most importantly, here at GravelUp we put aside any form of competition - we start together and finish together, no racing, no pressure, just smiles and pure pleasure.

Where we ride:

Our trips are either point to point rides to make a journey or day rides from our Basecamp, depending on the level and destination that you choose. Daily distances are between 40-80km, again depending on the level of adventure, and have some built in flexibility to take into account the weather and energy levels/wants of the group etc. They have been carefully crafted by our team, with input from the local Tourist Offices and Regional Natural parks where we often travel.

What we ride:

We aim to ride on as many types of trail as a gravel bike allows (without getting too technical of course), which is a lot thanks to their incredible versatility! We prioritise dirt and gravel paths and the trail less travelled, to get you as close to the locals and nature as possible.
