Transfer from Avignon train station to Sault, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. After a friendly lunch, it’s time to hop on the bikes for a first loop with our local guide — the perfect way to get familiar with the bikes, the group, and the Provençal vibe.
A great warm-up ride to soak up the surroundings before heading back to camp for a cozy first dinner together.
We kick off the adventure with a first point-to-point gravel stage around Mont Ventoux, covering around 70 km. The goal: take the time to fully immerse yourself in the wild landscapes of the region and explore some of the Ventoux’s hidden gravel tracks.
It’s the perfect day to switch into adventure mode, build confidence on the trails, and soak up the full gravel experience at the relaxed pace of Provence. At the end of the ride, we settle into a cozy hotel for a well-deserved dinner and a good night’s rest.
We continue the adventure with another point-to-point gravel stage, covering around 70 km through the varied and unspoiled landscapes of the Ventoux region. This day will take us even deeper into the wild side of Provence, following remote trails through rolling hills, oak forests, and charming southern villages.
After this beautiful day on the bike, we’ll settle into our hotel for a friendly dinner and a well-deserved night’s rest, ready to recharge for the next stage of the journey.
A gradual return to Sault, marking the end of our gravel bike journey through the wild and majestic landscapes of Mont Ventoux. This final stage will take us across a few more remote trails, where the spirit of adventure and the natural beauty of the region will continue to accompany us.
The paths will offer breathtaking views of the mountain and its surroundings, allowing us to conclude our journey in style. We will spend the night in Sault at the same hotel as on the first day. A final dinner together.
Last gravel kilometers, a moment of sharing and exchange before the end of the journey. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a final lunch together to celebrate this adventure. Departure will be in the early afternoon, with everyone leaving with unforgettable memories of this trip.
Practicalities
For Adventurer and Escape trips your luggage will remain at the base camp, where you will sleep each evening.
For Explorer trips your luggage will be transported by us between your accommodation each day.
Booking
You can change the date of your trip free of charge up to 30 days before departure. You can also cancel at any time before the start of the trip subject to payment of a cancellation fee. If the cancellation occurs:
More than 90 days prior to Departure => Receive a Refund of 75% of all payments already made (including deposits) OR a Trip Credit of 100%
Between 61 and 90 days prior to Departure => Receive a Refund of 50% of all payments already made (including deposits) OR a Trip Credit of 75%
Between 31 and 60 days prior to Departure => Receive a Refund of 25% of all payments already made (including deposits) OR a Trip Credit of 75%
30 days or less prior to Departure => No Refund OR Trip Credit of 50%
Please note that a Trip Credit cannot be converted to a refund at a later date.
To protect yourself against last minute cancellation, we advise you to subscribe to our cancellation insurance through our partner Chapka insurance, with a guarantee which also covers you in case of contracting the Covid-19. Please note that such insurance can only be subscribed within 48 hours following the order of your trip. Subscription link available here.
Important: the realisation of the trip is conditional on the registration of a minimum number of participants to guarantee the departure. We commit ourselves to confirm a trip at the latest 30 days before the departure date. In the event that the trip cannot take place because the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be reimbursed for any sums paid but will not be entitled to any compensation. You will be informed by email whether or not a trip is confirmed.

In this unique package, we're giving you the chance to create our new itinerary around Mont Ventoux with us! All GravelUp services are of course included: accommodation, meals, activities, transfers, guide...
This trip is aimed at former GravelUp participants, regardless of the trip you took. However, we recommend that you take part in a sporting activity at least twice a week and that you have already done several cycling trips of at least 3 hours. This will enable you to feel more at ease and make the most of your stay.

Join us for a 3-day or 5-day escapade, exploring the Ventoux massif by gravel and admiring breathtaking landscapes.
