For regular cyclists in search of athletic challenges and discoveries, this adventure is tailor-made for you!

Daily Itinerary

Day 1: We’ll meet at the Oslo Airport followed by a welcome drink and bike handover at Fara's Cycling Center. A first 40 km ride through Nordmarka, the famous wilderness area around Oslo, will kick off your journey and take you to our first stop north of Oslo. Immediate immersion into Norwegian nature is guaranteed.

Day 2: We start by crossing the charming town of Torpo before heading towards the magnificent Hemsedal mountains. 90 km of joy through typical hamlets and their small houses, wild mountains, on the slopes of the Milky Way. You'll cross the splendid forest expanses to arrive at Gomobu where you'll spend the night.

Day 3: A yoga session to start the day right, followed by a 75 km stage with a superb route up to the Slettefjell viewpoint, offering an exceptional panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The road between lakes and mountains will make you feel the vastness of the Nordic territories, before reaching the next stop: Grønolen Fjellgard.

Day 4: 70 km following the fjords that venture into lakes nestled in the Norwegian mountains. One of the highlights of the day is the Valdresflye mountain plateau, one of the highest road plateaus in Northern Europe. You will then head East along Jotunheimvegen to reach Dalseter, where a typical meal and a beautiful last evening together await you!

Day 5: Enjoy this last day on the bike, 60 km past Fefor and Gålå, up to Fåvang, along the scenic Peer Gynt paths. We will share one last lunch in nature before heading back to Oslo, reflecting on the incredible adventure we have experienced together!

We select local guides who are passionate about their region for you. With anecdotes, encounters, and sharing of experiences, our guide will ensure that you have an unforgettable stay and, above all, that you absorb as much as possible of this fabulous region.

Our Bikes

You will be able to ride the F/Gravel bike made by the local brand Fara Cycling. This bike is a purpose built gravel bike designed to take you to the most incredible places. Extremely capable of tackling the toughest terrain, with wide tire clearance, low standover height and Fara Cycling’s own Integrated Bikepacking System.

Interested in an electric bike? Our electric-assist bikes from the French brand Origine are also available for rent and await you directly on-site!

Physical preparation

This trip in Norway is suitable for regular cyclists.

This stay is for you if:

  • You engage in physical activity several times a week.

  • You are capable of undertaking bike rides of at least 4 hours.

  • Having experience in multi-day bike touring is a plus.

How to get there?

  • By plane: Oslo airport (shuttle at noon / return at 5pm)

  • By train: Oslo Central train station (shuttle at noon / return at 5pm)

  • By car: Meet us directly at Fara cycling experience center, Hoffsveien 10A, Skøyen, 0275 Oslo. (from 3pm)

As soon as you arrive, our teams will take care of you and drive you directly to Fara cycling experience center in the heart of Oslo where the experience will begin.

Your stay starts at 3pm and ends at around 3pm on Sunday.
